The Competitive Edge program is a focused version of the highly acclaimed Personal Success
Profile© process developed by Career Strategies International, Inc.
The Competitive Edge program is designed for those attorneys who want to remain lawyers but
who are seeking new positions in-house or with another law firm. This differs from the more
complex PSP and Portfolio Options programs, which identify career alternatives for attorneys who
are looking to leave private practice or their current practice area.
The Competitive Edge program fulfills three very crucial design missions:
• To show, in clear terms, why you are a good lawyer and how you have proven it
• To provide a marketing advantage edge by identifying your contributory abilities and skills
• To show why they should hire you versus another lawyer with basically the same experience.
Clearly, the key to changing jobs successfully is to demonstrate
the full scope of your abilities, and the unique contributions you
can make. The Competitive Edge process provides us with that
information by establishing how and why you have been
successful, and how these same skills can benefit your new
employer.
By providing critical information about your contributory abilities
and successes, The Competitive Edge enables us to establish
your “value proposition.” We can accurately document how you
have gone the extra mile to produce results for your clients
and/or employers.
We know from 15 years of direct experience that in-house positions are few and far between;
